Gigi Clement
Children’s Book Author, Acrylic Artist, and Storyteller
Although the first published book is a children’s book, Gigi also writes paranormal and urban books. Painting and listening to audiobooks are hobbies she indulges in for relaxation. Two books she has been working on over the past few years were shelved while she completed her bachelors in African American History. In the near future she plans to release these titles as novels in the genres of Paranormal romance and urban fiction, respectively.

Representation in Color
Representation in the world of fantasy and paranormal is possible! Recently many authors have created more inclusive stories celebrating African American culture and history. I wanted to do the same for children, so when they start reading or even listening to fantasy and paranormal books they can envision themselves IN these worlds— not ON the fringes of them.
